#72 Luna Ninos

I'm sure that  in fact you are already aware of the yummy-ness that is Luna Ninos, but maybe you have forgotten? So here's a reminder just in case!

With so many delicious knits to choose from, in beautiful colours & timeless designs, these Australian made pieces are very hard to go past.

rib pinni cotton cardi

This is just a small snapshot of the extensive range, that comes in many more colours & styles.
I adore the dusky pink of that pure cotton rib pinni but the blankets... oh the blankets...
Aren't they divine?! The perfect gift for a new baby. You can't have too many blankets, especially when they are this lovely.
That extra fine merino wool cable knit blanket (pictured in white, slate & charcoal) looks extra snuggley doesn't it? The tree blanket is knitted from 100% pure combed cotton & 10% of the proceeds from the sales of that design are donated to The Wilderness Society in Australia.

So this last one... relevance relevance...
This is a children's blog & children have parents? No what about this, kids often climb onto their parents beds to wake them up? Yeah that'll do.
Anyhow, I couldn't resist...

Love.

#51 Children's Animal Jackets

A few weeks ago a friend of mine sent me a link to these OH so adorable jackets by Molly Godall of little goodall on etsy.
I love this little green jacket with matching waterproof scarf & the other jackets take the animal hood concept to a whole new delightful level...
They are custom made to fit & are made from either wool blend felt or eco-felt - which is made from 100% post consumer plastic bottles (how cool is that?), finished with a printed cotton lining & vintage buttons. The sleeves are finished with poly lining to make them extra easy to slip on & off over winter layers. Ain't that considerate like?
It's currently available in the forms of a brown fox, a grey fox, a toddler brown & blue bear, a toddler brown & pink bear & last but by no means least, a yellow lion.
This is surely 'that' item, the one that any child lucky enough to own has fond & magical memories of well into adulthood.
Look at those little claws... awww!

I simply can not go past that lion... could it be any more adorable?!
It is pretty cold here you know...

Hello hello to my beautiful, fresh and ready to be filled with treasures-most-sublime page!

My plan is to fill this blog with as many of the gorgeous things I 'goo and gaa' over for babies and children as I possibly can, and I hope, that if by chance you should come across this page, you will love all these things as much as I do...
