#33 What? Wood Again?

Clearly I love wooden toys.
There is really no point in denying that.
But seriously... Can you blame me?

& don't you just love the sneaky education of this leaf puzzle? hehe!

#32 A Fathers Journey

A photographic series by Phillip Toledano was mentioned quite a lot in my web travels today, eventually curiosity won out over the laziness that was preventing me from tracking it down & I did...
Rather than tell you how you really should read it & why, I will provide you with said link & let you get on with it!

#29 Little Red Dream

As a child, I guess I had what most would consider 'boyish' tastes.
I loved playing with lego, digging holes to hide out in (weird?), looking for old bottles & cans etc left by miners in the gold rush, getting purposefully lost in the state forest behind our house just so I could try & figure out how to get home - luckily those activities always ended well & I avoided any bottom of a mine shaft incidents!
I loved catching frogs & yabbies (sans net) in the pond out the back of our house more than anything else in the world, & I loved matchbox cars.

I had two favourite cars.
The first was a black english taxi cab, on which the doors opened backwards.
The second, was a little red treasure, which now belongs to Master C.

#28 Babushka Babushka Babushka (yah yaaah)

I saw these online a while ago & promptly forgot about them until seeing them in a store last week...

Uh hello, cute much?!

They're made from some fancy very strong glass (oh I'm so knowledgeable, clearly! It's called borosilicate glass) so I'd be brave enough to let my little one use them.
Another plus, dishwasher safe.
They also, as you can see in the picture, stack inside each other like real babushka dolls, so are very handy for those tight on kitchen storage space.
Whether that be because there isn't much of it or because you have no self control when it comes homewares... *cough cough*
What do you think? Convinced myself?

Petit Collage has so many cute things, I very much doubt that this will be the last time I post about their lovely lovely goods!

You can have more than one mobile right? Like maybe, a whole ceiling full?
