Argh! These memory game sets from apple n amos! Love!!!

The alphabet set is for practicing making words, such a fabulous idea for fun learning isn't it?

#42 Bath Food

When we were little my younger sister collected novelty bath soaps A trip to the chemist & the sight of that shelf stacked with boxes full of mass produced, somewhat poorly formed, soap animals would hold our attention rapturously until our mother completed her shopping & dragged us away...Once with a soap hippo in my sisters pocket as I recall! She was caught out less than a block away & made to take it back & apologise. Criminal behaviour that was most enjoyably witnessed by myself I might add. 

Anyhow, those little fancies pale in comparison to the following!

The corn cob is infused with shea butter, while the toast is made from goats milk that smells like freshly baked bread & the strawberry jam contains real strawberry seeds!

In the first set are four organic vegan oreo cookie soaps w/ creamy shea butter filling & come with a warning not to eat them even though they look & smell just like chocolate.

The second set comes with a glass of milk made from milk & honey scented shea butter soap as well as five oreos, one with "double-stuf" cream in french vanilla cream fragrance.

The strawberries (that smell like strawberries) are a set of five vegan soaps, the chocolate dipping is made with raw organic cocoa ( & smells like, you guessed it, chocolate!).

The life size doughnut soaps are made from goats milk & smell like freshly baked frosted doughnuts... i think they look alarmingly real...

#41 Sushi Set Round Up

I love Sushi.

Not just because it's delicious but because it makes my life easier.

It's a perfect child-friendly guilt-free snack when you're out & about...

Master C is crazy about it, I'm happy that he enjoys something that is healthy so much, he can hold it easily in one hand AND that it's relatively mess free ( once children reach a certain age where it's no longer a requirement that every meal/snack results in epic head to toe coverage anyhow...).

All those elements combine nicely to make me one happy mumma!

About a year ago I saw a brilliant wooden sushi set in a local toy shop, I went back to buy it a little while later & unfortunately it was gone. I've been waiting to find it again ever since with no luck.

None of these are said set (although we do have the first one & it is good), but nice alternatives to consider all the same...

I've seen this wooden bento style sushi box for sale a few places, but it's available at oliebollen at $19.95 compared to $39.95 elsewhere. I know what the other half would say to that... "You'd be losing money not to right?!" hehe

This one has nigiri, oshi & maki & has shrimp, tuna, salmon roe & egg pieces.

There are pieces that have the 'velcro chop function', now popular in much play food.

It includes ginger, wasabi (yummo!), & a dish of shoyu (soy sauce).

In addition to that there is a cleaver, a pair of chopsticks & a menu!
